Established in 2004, in the name of one of our finest PRO, Dr. Robin Wallace,

by Commodore Sandy Carney and the board of ILYC.

This trophy will be awarded annually to a member of ILYC, who by their participation,

has made a significant contribution to the Ida Lewis Race Management progam.

Criteria for winning the trophy include:  knowledge of rules affecting runningraces,

competence in making signals correctly and on time, setting marks accurately, scoring,

writing Notices of Race & Sailing Instructions, etc.

It also reinforces the importance ILYC places on quality race management.

The winner is decided by a committee of three:  Dr. Wallace, Race Committee Chair, and the sitting Commodore.
